Eco-Friendly Practices
Our entire fleet runs on electric tuk tuks — no diesel fumes trailing your group through Malasaña or the historic center, and quiet enough that you can actually hear your guide.
Tuk Tuk Tour Madrid has guided visitors through the city's historic center since 2014, using electric tuk tuks and local guides who know Madrid's streets, shortcuts, and stories. From the Royal Palace to the tapas bars of La Latina, every tour is built around Madrid - not a fixed script.

Years in Madrid
Tuk Tuk Tour Madrid started in 2014 with a simple problem to solve: the fastest way to see Madrid's historic center was on foot, and the slowest way was a full-size tour bus that couldn't fit down half the streets worth seeing. A small group of local guides started running electric tuk tuks instead - quiet enough for narrow streets, small enough for a personal route, and clean enough to fit a city that's tightening emissions rules in its center.
Since then, the guide team has grown, but the approach hasn't changed. We run tours through Malasaña, Chueca, and the historic center, and every guide is expected to know the neighborhoods well enough to answer questions a guidebook can't.

Days a Week
Tuk Tuk Tour Madrid exists to make Madrid's historic center accessible without a bus schedule, a walking route that wears you out, or a script read from a card. Every tour runs on a small electric tuk tuk with a local guide, built around what the group actually wants to see - the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, the Mercado de San Miguel, or the quieter streets a first-time visitor would otherwise walk past. We keep groups small and routes flexible so the tour fits the traveler, not the other way around.
The principles behind how we run every tour.
01
Our entire fleet runs on electric tuk tuks — no diesel fumes trailing your group through Malasaña or the historic center, and quiet enough that you can actually hear your guide.
02
More time at Retiro Park, a detour through Malasaña's street art, or a straight shot to the Royal Palace for photos — we adjust the route and pace on request instead of running a fixed script.
03
Ask about the Austrias quarter's architecture or where to get tapas after the tour, and you'll get a real answer — our guides work Madrid's streets year-round, not off a memorized card.
Our guides are based in Madrid, many with over a decade of experience showing visitors around the city. Each one is licensed and insured, and trained on passenger safety and Madrid's traffic rules before they take a tuk tuk out with a group - so the tour is informative and the ride is safe.
